First off. the only thing that makes this a Chicago anything. Is that it is closer to Chicago than say...Canada. Gigantic menu. which in a place like this. GFS frozen food galore. Chicago Style hot dogs are about the dog, the condiments, the bun. I could bang out a better Chicago Dog in my kitchen than what is passed off here. Did a Mushroom Swiss burger on the 2nd trip. The burger is that general manufactured Bubba Burger looking patty that kinda looks like the Yelp symbol. It's edible...just not anything to write home about. And again, you have the owners kids working the counter. Rude, uninterested, just off putting.

Stopped here on a drive from Chicago to Minneapolis. Just happened to be the first non-chain eatery I came across so I decided to give it a go. The menu had a ton of different sandwiches to choose from, but I went with the special of the day - Texas Beef Brisket and Sweet Potato fries. Now, the fries were awesome. Crisp, fresh, and sweet. Very lightly salted. I was in heaven. The sandwich though was sloppy and fatty, and was more like "sliced all purpose beef" then beef brisket. If the BBQ sauce wasn't on it, I imagine this would have qualified as a roast beef sandwich, or Roast Beef Au Jus. Disappointed on the brisket sandwich. I still ate it, but it was nothing to write home about. The staff was friendly. The place was clean, and the bathrooms were neat and in order. Not bad for a quick roadside stop. It's not a chain, which is a plus - and it was priced reasonably. If I were in the area I'd probably try it again and see what the other sandwiches were like.

Came here to scarf down a quick lunch. I selected an Italian Beef based on it is listed as one of their specialties that was a mistake. Luckily there was a spare side of au jus because the beef was like eating sawdust. The fries were tasty. Avoid the beef here.

Ordered a jr Classic Italian beef sandwich. Mozzarella properly melted, sweet peepers laid on sandwich hot peppers are served on the side. Lady at counter was very helpful and curious. Order was ready in under 5 mins great service! Great Italian beef. Served as dipped but I'm sure they would do dry if asked. Very good and classic! For a jr sized sandwich this is a meal!!

Great place to eat. The pulled smoked pork bbq sandwich is the 2nd best pulled pork I've ever had. The French fries are fresh and delish, too. They have dr. Pepper! The servings are plentiful and the employees are very polite. I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Legit 5 stars. Dr. Pepper!

We were looking for somewhere new to eat that wasnt overpriced LG style and we didnt want fast food..so we went here..And were VERY happy..The ladies behind the counter were funny and friendly. Pricing is very reasonable and the menu is huge! I had a delightfully greasy philly with cheese fries(cardiac arrest anyone?)My hubby had the chicago dog-He was born and raised in Chicago and liked it-so I trust his opinion.:) We have been back agian since then and were just as happy Simple and yummy

A high three for what it is; Fast.food. It's good fast food. I'd take it above any fast food chain in the area. The fries are really good. Not a bad cheap burger and the gyros are nice for a worthy bite on the go. It's all about the Point cream soda.

Fast food, but as far as fast food goes, pretty good!

Food not bad. Ordered a gyro and liked it. The menu is huge. I read the guy's review before me. He's right. It's not really Chicago style but you're in Lake Geneva. What do you expect. For Lake Geneva...not bad.

Simply put, we love Claws. Claws does it right for what it is...which is a step above regular fast food, but quicker and more affordable than a traditional dine in restaurant. We've eaten here many times and I've never had something I didn't like. Pulled pork is great (but sometimes too much sauce). The burgers are tasty and just greasy enough to make you feel better after a night out. The chicken breasts are always cooked to perfection...juicy and not overdone. Fries are thick cut and hot. And the shakes...ahhh!! Plenty of options for everyone, even if you're not in the mood for burger/fries type food, they also have subs and wraps. Like I said, we love it.

Fast food is fast food but this place isn't your typical fast food franchise so it was a nice change of pass. I'll go back to try something other than a chicago style dog.

Visited here over the summer on the way to see Pearl Jam at Alpine Valley from Chicago, and tried the delicious pulled pork sandwich and chocolate malt. I highly recommend yoy try this place for a quick bite. All the items on the menu looked good as well.

Ate lunch there today. The beef & sausage combo was fantastic and my friend said the gyro was excellent. Always get good food.

Not bad for the price if you are looking for a quick meal outside of fast food drive thru's. I had the pulled pork sandwich. It was yummy and flavorful. Their sauce is Sweet Baby Rays. Kind of disappointed that they don't make their own, but can't complain about Sweet Baby Rays. It's good! My boyfriend ordered the ribs, good price for a full rack, $12-15 ish. They were good and fell off the bone.

We ordered two items at claws. A hamburger and Italian beef combo. Supposedly according to their advertisement, they are Chicago Style food. Somehow, I did not think that is true. For the hamburger, we added cheddar cheese. So instead of a slice of cheddar cheese, they added a shredded cheddar on the burger. Who adds shredded cheese to a burger?! As for the Italian beef, it is definitely not Chicago style. It was way too small... and served with out Gardiner. o yeah.. with shredded cheddar as well. Another thing I do not like. At the pick up window, they added a faux wall so you can't see in the kitchen while you wait for your food. What is up with that? So if your order is incorrect they won't be able to flag them down for help. You have shout for help.

Extensive menu, clean dining room, friendly staff. Had #6 Jr. Combo. Great sandwich & order done in under 3 min. Best place this side of LG.

The only good food I've had here was the hot dogs. I get them Chicago-style and don't have any complaints. It's the other food items that are lacking. The Italian Beefs are mediocre at best, and I once ordered an Italian sub that was just plain bad. I don't really have any complaints about the service. Overall, it's just subpar.
